Many countries take an example from the scandinavian countries, where camitalism is suposed to be working. But the recent events seem to show that even the famous scandinavian model is failing, not as fast as the Franko-Anglo-Germano-American model but stil.
What is your opinion?...

Perhaps it is. Perhaps they will be smarter and realize where they are wrong and correct it. We can only wait.

I think their economic model is very impressive, they charge HUGE taxes, yet give free healthcare to the people, you don't see such an unbalanced economic pyramid like in most countries. Its still not perfect though.

Well I think it's better than everything else, free healthcare and education... it gives everyone the basic rights. So I think it's fine.

Free healthcare isn't always better, but I'd assume healthcare in Scandinavia is fantastic seeing as the quality of life there is so good.
Having basic healthcare for free would be better than paying for basic healthcare.

That makes no sense.

You could be right, I don't know how their system is or the life expectency is.

Norway has the highest human development index which is basically life expectancy, education and quality of living combined.
Norway has a HDI of 0.955 compared to the UKs 0.875 and USAs 0.937.
That's pretty impressive, and a lot of Scandinavian countries are very high up on the HDI lists...

In Economics, we were comparing our health care to that of Canada, which is universal, and while it is cheaper, we have better life expectancy with diseases for example, and its a lot quicker to have surgery done or get an organ transplant. The subject slips my mind but I believe thats it.
