I've recently been having some strange problems with my mouth. I've googled my symptoms and all and I've ruled out herpes. I've never kissed anyone or had any sexual contact. So I'm a fifteen year old girl and over the last week or so I got a patch ((smaller than a coin)) of irritation on my tongue. I shrugged it off, thinking it wasn't anything to worry about. Now after a little more than a week, I have red bumps at the back of my tongue, more patches ((I didn't mention, there's no little bumps on these, like there is on a normal tongue)), and several little red irritations. I am freaking out. If I show my mum, she'll assume the worst, and we can't afford any treatment anyway. I just really need help here. My tongue is also kind of sore when I move it, but nothing severe.

If any of you think you can help me, please comment or message me. If you can help, I can show you a picture of my mouth... I'M SCARED.

no one here is a doctor so all you will get are guesses that are probably wrong. ask the school nurse. oh wait. school is out. it could be something serious. you should ask your mom even if she assumes something bad. the doctor can tell her that it's not an STD. you don't know if you can afford treatment until you know what the treatment is. could be anything from cancker sores to cancer so don't fuck around with it.

Echoing Troy, we can't tell you what's wrong or diagnose you, as none of us are doctors. It does sound like something that should be looked at by a GP. I know you said you couldn't afford treatment, but there are free clinics in the US. I'm not sure where you are and if they have the same resources available, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to check. Don't panic, though -- this doesn't sound like something to panic over. Do get it checked out, though; it will ease you both physically and mentally.
