Yeah. They just make demands so that Serbia cannot join. They made a noise reduction demand once X_X
I never been there so I will not discuss the Germans as a people.
My grandfather and grandmother lived there for 16 years since '92 I think. They had decent salaries, but lower then a German worker would have. They realised that a few months later, and complained and threatenes to sue their bosses. When they returned, they said that they are glad to be back. At least the food prices are lower here.

Why is this even a question?
Kazakhstan...greatest country in the world!
All other countries are run by little girls. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7FBIP30sg0)
In all seriousness - the greatest country in the world is one of the Scandinavian nations. Sweden has the highest level of democracy, Norway has the highest level of equality, Finland is the most stable country, and Denmark has the highest life satisfaction and highest minimum wage. If I had to live in one of those, I'd pick Sweden without a doubt.
I'll always love the United States, but the first step in solving a problem is realizing there is one. America's not the greatest country in the world. But it can be.

I don't think there can really be 'best countries' because all countries have a lot of flaws. I prefer the general Scandinavian/Nordic model of countries though.

Well, I don't think there are "best" countries and "worst" countries. "Best" and "worst" depends entirely on your viewpoint, and there is no way to fairly say "x country is the worst in the world". Countries can't so easily be compared.
However, if I were ranking countries, there are a couple that I view most favorably...Indonesia and Argentina.

Amazing: Scandinavian nations
The Benelux
Canada
Switzerland
Australasia
Good: U.S
France
Spain
A special respect for Lebanon, which is in my opinion the only Middle Eastern country that at least tries to act civil.
Brazil
South Africa
Meh: Germany
China
Russia, it tries to be a good country, but the people there are just naturally authoritarian-minded for the most part.
U.K
Italy
Japan
South Korea
India
Not Good: Cuba
North Korea, I would list this as horrible, but no one knows what is going on there 100%.
Indochina
Israel/Palestine
Venezuela
Belarus
Turkey (despite the fact my heritage traces back there)
Horrible: Most Middle Eastern countries.
Afro-Arab nations.
A lot of Africa, especially DRC, Zimbabwe and Uganda.
And the Turd of the Earth goes to...
Saudi Arabia! (If you have ever done any research on them, DEAR GOD.)

Yea, this. "Best" is completely, 100% subjective. If the question was, "Which country provides the most X in the world" or something like that, then this thread would make more sense.

Aside from some britishboy's posts, this is one of the dumbest posts I have ever seen. South America is more useful in my opinion. At least they do not bomb countries to further their own interests. That was meant about the US mostly since Canada is the antithesis of the US if we look at their foreign policy.

Someone who hates a certain race or all other races or thinks that his race is superior.
You might not be racist to Indians, but you are acting racist to EU citizens in UK who want to have benefits but do not have a UK citizenship. Plus calling Ireland a dump is racist . Yes youbact like a racist.

Worlds best football is Brazil? I'm sure many people would like to challenge that, that's an opinion.
Columbia and chile/Argentina may give coffee/wine, but it doesn't mean it's of good quality. Most of the good quality/best (wine) comes from Napa Valley, France, and Italy, not Argentina/chile. Same with Colombia, they're known for making good coffee, but not the best of the best. America gives salsa too. I can make salsa at my own house.

Albanians are not related to Serbs in any way. They do not even belong to the Slavic group. I think that murder rates in the US are higher. Since '02 till tiday, there have pobably been 20,000-25,000 homicides in Chicago alone. And South America is not in a debt which will last for 100 years minimum.

Owning guns isn't considered bad.
Homicides are the largest because we are larger than most countries.
The government does try to help social issues. They just believe its up to the people, not the government. Not like you understand, you're a communist, you want the government involved in everything.
Not being racist, but were the most overweight cause of Mexicans. It only makes sense, because Mexico is the second most overweight nation in the world, and the US is being flooded by those people.

Actually, it is not just the communist states which have free healthcare. UK also has it, and the US is the only First World country not to have free healthcare. Those Mexicans are US citizens. If we are going by those stats, you are not American, but partially Sicilian. China has more citizens then you but has less homocides. I think it is OK to have a pistol or a hunting rifle/shotgun, but a M4A1, AR-15 or a Gattling gun? I could kill dozens if not hundreds with the last three, given enough ammo. Your government's business is everything unlike Communist Yugoslavia where several movies were made that were spitting on communism, and people were not arrested and held indefinitely at detention facilities across the world. If it wasn't for the Yugoslav commies, Apollo wouldn't land on the Moon. We sold you the blueprints for many space travel components which fast-forwarded your space program for a decade or two. In many states internet piracy is allowed. Only the US and a few other countries outlawed that.

The reason why the US is failing is because they do not recognize problems. A proverb says, If you know what the problem is, you are halfway to solving it. They blame sokeonebelse for their problems which is to some extent annoying and immature.

These claims are ridiculous. What evidence do you have to prove "South America is not developed" or that people in South America have a low quality of life?
the south has terrible crime, high murder rates and undeveloped
South America is a huge and diverse continent. Caracas is different from Rio de Janeiro which is different from Cordoba which is different from Santiago which is different from Asuncion. Some parts of South America are wealthy, some are poor - just like the west. I've got friends in Neuquen and Rio Gallegos much richer than I am, who'd laugh at the representation of South America you're describing. You can't label the entire continent as poor, dangerous, and undeveloped. Uruguay recently legalized gay marriage for all, following countries such as Argentina and Chile. Buenos Aires has a lower murder rate than New York, LA, Chicago, or DC.

Assault rifles are defined as a fully automatic military style weapon. Full autos were banned to public sale with the NFA. The only way to get around that is either 1. Get illegally or 2. Get an FFL which you need to have a businesses to get one. Same goes for mini guns. You people need to learn your terminology and laws.

In Serbia you can only get pistols and huntimg weapons legally. Anything else is onsidered military-grade and is banned. I heard that weapon ownership laws in the US depend on the state you are in.

Canada- Why the hell not?

Canada has free health care.
Canada does not dump it's money into weapons.
Canada is friendly.
Canada gained its complete independence with peace and maturity. Last time I checked, the U.S did it with violence.
War of 1812, U.S attacks, we win.
The phone. Dont believe an american if he/she says that it was invented in the U.S, it's disputed between the U.S and Canada.
Friends with the U.S. The U.S and Canada are each others largest trading partners. Even the two leaders are pretty friendly to each other.
PEANUT BUTTER. Didn't see that coming did you. Your welcome.
Gas masks.
Huge contribute to WW2.
Big possibility of losing WW2 with out Canadas transport of men and supplys in the early times. (Un armed ships, boats acted like crumple zones around the cargo ship.)

usa- worlds only current superpower and simply awesome
australia- simply perfect, just announced worlds happiest nation, beautiful, great for tourism and large economy
worst:
all dictatorships- takes away people's rights
all communist countries- no rights, torture and no freedom of speech (note to communists, I know this isn't real communism)

1...by a long shot, I'd say this even if I didn't live here. They'res no denying that this country is the most successful nation in the history of the world, culturally, militarily, economically, and technologically. I don't mean to sound full of it, but it's the truth. We also are arguably the only country where the people truly have more power then the government.
THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
2...Britain...used to be like the world superpower and sorta Americas mother country.
3. Eh, Japan? If it weren't for they're socialist policies they'd be doing great.
Worst
Pretty much all of sub-Saharan Africa, parts of Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and then North Korea.

Yes, Russia and Serbia aren't free. At the very least, they're a heck of a lot less free then America. Have you seen their tax rates? Taxes are, by nature, limits on freedom. and it's almost impossible to start a small business there. And I know for a fact that Russia's "president" has been infringing on freedom of speech greatly against his political opponent. This is unheard of in America, and if it happened, the President would most certainly not be able to contain the opposition because of our Constitution.
Let me ask you this: What rights are given to the people in the Russian, Slovanian, Chinese, and Serbian Constitutions?
So what if Chinas economy is getting stronger? They are still like a third of the economy of the US, and about a tenth of the US on a per capita basis.
Just because you are slowly closing a huge gap in a race doesn't mean you'll win.
And I reiterate: Free countries have wealthier, happier, and more empowered people.

yep fine with south korea, I think sometimes people just overreact and dont think or are attention seeking when they post stuff saying people are racist
Yes. In America we call it "playing the race card".
You should trust that statistic, until recently people of my country were happy and ignorant towards the horrible deeds of the government, only now do they start to realize what they have done.
My point was yes, the Venezuelan government is fairly corrupt, so I wouldn't trust any polling data out of that nation.

there is no racism here? for example my favorite country is Australia for weather, people and culture, I dislike north korea for being a modern nazi state using communism and fear to control people, but the actual north koreans are fine
Once again how do you know that the actual north korean people are fine, have you met them? Have you done any research on them?
I was also referring to the rather blatant nationalism which is on this thread, such as assuming that all Serbians can't afford to go on holiday. It's just a breeding ground for misinformed blabber

GDA? Guideline daily amount for certain food products? Do you mean GDP?
I'm not nationalistic
Really? You've accused me of hating Britain several times purely for questioning our country rather than following it like a fly to lamp. You said that north Koreans are fine, I know I'm nitpicking but you really have no way to be able to judge 25 million people through what you've seen on TV.

you are really nitpicking:p and yes GDP, they confuse me! and they have done nothing to me, I see the north koreans as victims, just like the jews in the holocaust, ive never meet one of them jews but they still have my sympathy and I said u must hate britian because you want a republic, something considered very unbritish and at the time I said that, I had the feeling you had no like for britian

wow, your comparing the north Koreans to the Jews? Have you seen the holocaust? I admit NK is bad but it is no way at all similar to the holocaust.
If it's un-british how come they're was a movement 200 years ago demanding change, we've had a the mayor of London called for a republic.
Questioning the government doesn't mean you hate the country, are you a goddamn fascist?

no of course not, I said its considered to be and it is that bad, they have concentration camps, propaganda and if you for example dont bow to that kim jong un you, your kids and gran kids are put in prison, theres rumors that kim jong un gave out a book by hitler to all his senior officials, I see everyone a victim there

Rumors... It's just like how the allies said that Hitler made soap out of POWs. You have no evidence for any of this. You talk about there propaganda but your just as happy to accept the western version without even researching it. I'm not saying it's untrue I'm saying you need evidence.
It is no-where near as bad as a holocaust, not one bite. The NK government is not attempting to carry out ethnic cleansing, that's what a holocaust is. Do you know who invented the concentration camp?

the british invented it in the bore war, to torture the bores for information, hitler actually admired the british and copied the idea, he actually wanted to be allies with us, thank god we didn't become allies and my source is a program with former north korean citizens and undercover footage of north korea, and im just doing the exact same thing as you do with iran

Ever heard of Sealion? The only reason Hitler claimed to like the British was because he knew he couldn't take out are navy, he killed so many pows through the commando order, he never was a friend of britain. oh yes because TV never lies does it?
There is no ethnic cleansing happening in North korea, it's no way at all like the holocaust. Even saying that is like stamping on 6 million graves. This shows once again that you need to use your noggin before you post, you can't generalize and say that every anti-western country is committing a genocide.
I'm much more fearful of Iran than NK, at least the North koreans understand where god should be in politics

are we actually arguing about this? both are terrible! and he respected British culture and before the war he gave us hints of another big war and wanted an alliance however the second the British declared war and the king gave his speech, both British and German propaganda offices went into overtime making us hate eachother so an alliance after that would be impossible, I dont believe hitler tried

The man got an alliance with the soviets for god sake, he had been lying to us ever since 1936. Hitler knew that we would declare war because of the treaty we had with Poland. There never was a chance of an alliance, their would of been riots in the street

actually we surprised him by declaring war, he thought it was public relations and made planes on invading france with out us, however even with our help he still succeed, and he was allies with the soviets as he wanted to focus on france, he actually hated communists

You really don't need to teach me History.
He signed a defence pact with Poland in march 1939 which said we would defend them, this pact was public. Ribbentrop who was the German ambassador ended up fighting with the British ambassador to germany. Himmler said to Ribbentrop here is your war, the Nazis wanted a war since 1938 despite not being ready.
He wasn't allies with the soviets, he simply signed a defense pact. Nearly everyone knows Hitler hated communists, that's how he got elected

actually he got elected because money was worthless, times were hard and he offered a solution, the invading Poland part of the pact was secret but yeah both parts knew it was a walking on ice deal, just because people say things, dosent mean they will happen, hitler planed to invade western europe and did not expect britian to get involved until they threatened us and anyway this argument really is off topic in the best countries thread.

No, hyper inflation was in 1923. The 1933 election was nothing to do with hyper inflation.
Also can you please stop backseat modding, it doesn't reflect well on someone when they act like they're in charge
