So, I'm going to be getting a custom radio(CD Receiver) installed into my car, but I know it's going to be thinner than the stock radio, along with most likely going to protrude from my dash a tiny bit. Is there something I can buy, that will make it more flush and/or natural looking in it's place?
If needed, I own a 97 Chevy Cavalier z24.

Are you installing it or is a shop?
If you're doing it yourself, you should buy an adapter. Its made to fit the hole where the radio goes so that it sits flush with the dash and fills in the entire space. If you buy the radio on Crutchfield it comes with it for free.
If a shop is going to install it I would imagine that they would install the adapter with the radio.

So the housing Crutchfield sells will make it sit more like this, instead of looking ugly&&out of place?

Yep. As long as you give them the make/model/year of your car, that housing and a wiring adapter will be part of the shipment. They make it very straight forward.
