hey guys I found this poem on the intetnet, its about modern day politics, what do you think it means? and do you think its sending the right message?
The Siege of the Flowers..!
Days and days, days and days,Sun was shining on towers...
Way was safe, land was light, road was without robbers...
A day's come,a day's gone,all the things were routine...
The men were good, the lands were good, cities full of lovers...
"But!"
A day some men,got it boring, obey without powers...
So choosed to more, order people,to call themselves powers...
People was right, they were so wrong to call themselves powers...
The real power, was right in there,in hands of the lovers(people).
So those who called, themselves powers, began to kill people...
To take power,to take power,to be super powers.
--------------------------------------------------
"So..."
Days and days, days and days,Sun was shining on waters...
Way was rough, land was dark, road full of robbers...
A night's come,a night's gone,all the things were routine...
The men were killed, the lands were died, powers besieged flowers...

I moved this to The Open Book yesterday, since it is a poem. Why post it again?
Locking the first thread and moving this one. Again.

Even if it is about politics, it's still a poem...and all discussion of poetry goes in The Open Book.
If you wish to discuss this further, then PM me...and don't clutter up the thread.

It is not about poetry we want to discuss about it here and Open Books is not a good place for debating on this thread. It is better to be in Rambling of the Wise.
All things which will bring a debate in the forum have to be in "Ramblings of the Wise";You told it to me yourself...

It's not a debate about anything.
It's discussing what a poem may be about.
If something debatable comes of the discussion about the poem then you can created a thread for that topic (and not the poem) in ROTW, if one is not already open.
Once again, PM me if you wish to discuss this further. Right now you are taking up the discussion of the poem on this thread with it.

I think it is more about states than humanity.
