in spite of the "**Important, GIRLS ONLY FORUM, Please read**" (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=99733) thread at the top of the forum. Some guys can't stop from being assholes, and posting here.
I get very uncomfortable when guys respond to my posts, especially when they make sexually sugesstive comments or say how turned on they are by what I said. Why can't they respect our fucking boundaries??

I know exactly how you feel. I'm fed up with it and guys trying to "talk" to me.

Just hit that http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/images/styles/fblue/buttons/report.gif button below their avatar. This will bring up a screen where you can write a note to the moderator. Write something about "boy posting in girls forum" and they'll take care of it.

With all due respect, Cassie, I don't think that EACH and EVERY attempt by a boy to post here is necessarily something for us to want to avoid.
Sometimes I've seen a post from a boy made with good intentions (albeit misplaced ones since he shouldn't be posting here according to the rules), so, while I understand and respect your, Soapie's and others' concerns about it, I don't think we should be so quick to assume that ANY post here from a boy has ulterior, and unwelcome, motives.

Exactly, boys don't complain when girls post in their spot

i have no problem with boys seeing my posts, it doesnt bother me.
but i feel that the point of the girls board is for their privacy, so i would prefer they remain to their own and the mixed board.

sometimes they don't even realise which forum they are going to, if you look in the 'new posts' tab near the top, all you see is the newest posts and not which sub forum they are in, so if they come here through that it isn't entirely their fault, even though they should still check when they get into the thread if it's a ladies only thread

...of course you can see the subforum? They're listed on the far right.

In answer to the OP, yes, I'd prefer boys kept out of the girls' area and vice versa, but the comments they make aren't always harmful or disrespectful.

I doubt they will make this forum viewable and postable by girls only. As stated -- report violations and maybe tolerate it even though it can suck. On a side note -- the mixed gender puberty section should have disclaimers on the title so people will know who should respond or vote....

My world doesn't crumble because boys post here, but it annoys the hell out of me. Those who do obveously don't give a flying fuck about a simple rule. I mean, how hard is it to understand? Girls only means girls only.

Ok, maybe The word "viotaed" carries too much of a charge. I don't mean violated, like being raped. I mean violated, like when your parents goes through drawers, where you keep your vibrator or cigarettes.

This doesn't really have anything to do with puberty. :locked:
