No amount of money would replace it.

Hahahaha, what an interesting question. Hmm. Since I'm young and in my prime, I think my price should be objectively higher than an older person's.
Since the orgasm is one of the most pleasurable physical experience I can think of, it would be a quite pricey cost. And it's even tougher answering without any other responses to get a sense where everyone will answer. So for right now, I'll go with $10 million.

I'm going to add some clarity in the original post. Sex and masturbating, you'd feel nothing and you'd still have the urge to have an orgasm.
Good answer. I'll answer too. Haven't come up with anything yet. It's tough!
I think you're in the ball park with $10 million because it would have to be enough so that every other area of my life would have to be so great and so distracting to replace what I lost.
Part of me even considers the number to be so much higher, like a billion dollars because maybe I want to travel by helicopter as much as possible, own a company or not work or maybe do NASCAR for a few years with a top team and that's $25 million a year while I do it.
The flip side is, there are already people who can't orgasm because of paralysis and I'd feel greedy getting a huge payout and to them, it's just how life is.
Okay, I'm thinking $5 million up front and $250,000 a year for life or $15 million immediately. That's as low as I'd go.

That was the hardest part; how much money is enough to distract yourself from such a great physical pleasure. Realistically, I think I could live happily with all that without having to worry about much. But is that a fair trade off? I have no idea.

I don't even know how happy I'd be until I was much older. You're a guy like me. We're horny, things we see, read or think about turn us on. I literally can't remember the last time I didn't have at least one orgasm a day. The answer might be that it's never happened since I started when I was 10-11. I just can't imagine how horny I'd be after a week or three weeks.

What's your point - do you mean if someone stopped people being able to enjoy sex etc against their will? What would you pay to get it back?

How much money would you need to be paid for you to never be able to orgasm again?
What you get: x amount of money
What you lose: orgasms
$25 million?
Solid number. I think I'd go for $25 million too.

Truthfully, if the price is right id give up pretty much anything. If I never had another orgasm again a couple million or billion dollars would satisfy that. Of course I would hate for it to just go away. But I'd Spend time working out or traveling or filling a mansion with cool stuff if I could somehow get money for it. You'd cope with never having your urges satisfied and the challenge would be coping with it. personally, I think it'd be hard for the first couple months but I'd be too busy to worry about it eventually.

It's not about greed or it doesn't have to be. Maybe for you it's about what you could do with that money. Think of some causes that you could support for example. You could:
Contribute heavily to politicians to make your nation use more clean energy.
You could fund some efforts for endangered species.
You could pay upfront for your friends and families homes.
Set up scholarships.
Build a great private school for inner city kids, but the cost is zero.
Money for disease research that you think isn't making progress fast enough.
You could write checks every time there is a disaster.
Have wells dug for people in 3 world nations so they don't have to walk miles every day for water.
Help the disabled.
So maybe for you, it's a choice of going against nature to do a whole bunch of good.

if there had to be a price, $18.5 Billion in my opinion
but otherwise, nope nope nope. Not selling my orgasms.

The price would probably be something like $50. All an orgasm is is a chemical response of dopamine and serotonin, they'd just have to find a pill that would block the receptors.

Giving money to politicians to good things with is like giving a drunk money and saying to spend it on food not booze
It's a dumb premise- you can't sell orgasms, you could be denied them but no one gets anything because I can't have them

2 Flaws in your point there.
Firstly, the cost of the medicine (if they ever made it) would be way over $50 due to the complex nature of the brain, it would take a lot of research and the drug would be expensive. You would paying an awful lot more to get the near to the high of a natural orgasm than an artificial one.
Secondly, SSRI's used for blocking the receptors in the brain can have side effects. And what's the most ironic one? Sexual dysfunction! Now tell me, wouldn't it be useless to be able to experience an orgasm but at the same time, not be able to sustain an erection? That would be a complete fail!
Personally I wouldn't sell it. Just like said above, I don't want to go against nature if there's no benefit. Besides, the person giving me the money won't be able to magically receive what I lose O_O

I would take every single video game and console existing, a 2-bedroom apartment in Bogotá and enough to pay the rent and taxes of it for my whole life. Of course, that would be after having sex for the first time.

If you gave me an Octillion Dollars, (64 zeros) to get that procedure done on me, I could buy virtually ANYTHING. I could have too many Lambos to count. None of that would replace what sex is to me. Sex is the greatest thing ever to me. I would maybe commit suicide without it.

The problem is, I did not say that. I think that maticek meant that we can live in a world without currency.
Back on topic:
If I would get a square number of one octillion dollars, I could invest in orgasm pills or have surgery done on me to return my orgasms. Plus I might have enough money left to make a nice country. But no sane person would give you the money. Hell, they wouod charge you for surgery.

Sorry to say, but as much as you like to think you're priceless, everyone does have a price. Bill Gates price is $66 billion, Carlos Slem Hulu has a price of $72 billion. As much as I like to think everyone is priceless, that's just not true. I'm sure that if most of our parents got a letter saying "You will receive $500 million if you abort your current 2 month baby" most of our parents would take it into consideration and most parents would accept it (if that letter was, say, from our government).

Bil gates also thinks 64(or something like that)kb of computer memory is enouth for anyone.
No one believes in goverment and politics these days, they also dont have that kind of money to kill children and can't aford it because we need new births. I simply cant think of one single person that would do something like that, but given the dire times we leve in people in neighboring Croatia are posting ads onlyne to sell their kindeis...
Anywhoo, i dont have a price.

Oooh, I'd say it would have to be a rather ludicrous amount of money, like in the upwards of hundreds of billions to the trillions. Hell, if I'm not going to ever have an orgasm again, I might as well do it to provide for my family and my families generations to come (no pun intended).

Hmmm. The price to give it up I would say has no price. Mainly because I can't put on a price on it. But if I could I have to say it would have to
1. Make my life so much easier and better.
2. Help push disease research.
3. Be able to pay back my family.
4. Help starving people, homeless, etc..
5. Help my kids and grand kids with financial problems.
6. Everything above and then some.

What if you do it for cancer research? Tons of people are forced to give up their testicles from testicular cancer, what if you selflessly sacrifice yours for enough money to adequately fund research for testicular cancer?

:
There are definitely pros and cons to evaluate. Like already mentioned, it goes against nature. It's also part of sexual experiences you have with your partner. But then again, nearly everyone could use money. Saying I wouldn't sell it were I to be given a billion dollars is naive. I'd sell it, I just wouldn't want to. :P
