What's appealing about drugs?

For me, drugs are merely for a recreational experience. Something to pass the time. There's a lot going on in the world, and sometimes we don't have the chance to sit back and enjoy all of it. It's kind of nice to slow things down for a little and take it all in. Drugs kind of give you a new perspective on something that's as mundane as living.

They're not for everyone though. Someone who has an addictive personality and a tough home life shouldn't even be thinking about drugs. The whole point is to be responsible enough to keep enjoying the experience.

I use different drugs for different reasons. Opiates, which I have been addicted to and have had problems with, just feel amazing and take all pain away. It just makes everything content.

Smoking weed just became an all day thing for me so I don't really even think of it as a drug anymore.

Cigarettes because I am addicted.

Psychedelics really give me a learning experience every time. Literally, EVERY time I've done a psychedelic or dissociative, I've learned something about myself or the universe or emotions etc, and it makes me a better person I believe.

Everything else that I do, is recreational and feels good.

Honestly, it's because of the way you feel. The main reason people do drugs is because they want to feel good, whether they want to be even happier than they already are, or they want to try to get over their depression.
Personally, I just smoke weed and drink booze, and that's enough for me. I don't really know why someone would shoot shit up their arm, but to each their own. Everyone does drugs, for a different reason. Everyone deals with problems, and life, a different way. Just because someone does drugs, doesn't meann they're a bad person. Everyone does something for a reason.

I think some it's for the escape, some just like the feeling of getting high, and others do drugs because everyone else is so why not.

I use ecstasy, ketamine and cocaine for nights out simply so I can dance longer and feel great all night. Weed generally I'm not a huge fan but I'll use it to help me on a comedown at times or occasionally smoke to chill but not often.
