3D animation is actually more than possible on Mac, it supports programs like Maya and Blender, also game engines like Unity and Source.

My old PC can fry egss on it's housing. No Mac can do that.

PC all the way. Macs are nice, in a sense, but...

They're too expensive and require you to have some emulators before you can play any games you'd normally play on Windows. Not just that, for about half or even 1/4 of the price of a Mac, you could build a computer twice as powerful as a Mac that can do just as much for what ever reason you want it for.

PC is also upgradeable and affordable too. ;)

I don't want a mac because the os never felt very intuitive compared to windows or ,especially linux. Also safari is probably the only browser worse than I.E. Plus I'd like to still be able to afford the doctor.

PCs are much better, as they tend to be much more powerful if you spend the amount you qould on a mac. If all you're doing is browsing the internet and want a pretty interface, then get a Mac. Otherwise, PC all the way.

This question is actually one of my biggest pet peeves, seeing how a Mac is actually a PC, meaning personal computer. The question should be Windows/Linux or OSX.

Macs have the same features as Windows, but are just overpriced. I prefer Microsoft programs, although each has its advantages. As a gamer, I would definitely give the edge to Windows or Linux.

PC - personal computer.
A PC can have as a operating system Windows, Mac, Linux etc....
So saying " Mac vs PC" is like saying "Android vs cellphone"

I'd prefer a decent Mac, providing money weren't an issue. If I could get the same specs (different OS, obviously- but stuff like RAM and the hard drive etc.) I'd go for Mac in a heartbeat- the design of them is so simplistic and far beats the others.

I have both. While my PC is much more powerful, I'd say I prefer my mac for sure. It is so much more reliable, the parts last longer, and it's a laptop vs. the PC being a desktop, and it is just a much better system in my opinion. If I were getting a new computer today, I'd be headed straight for the Apple Store, forget even looking anywhere else. I think when it really comes down to it and you take the time to actually learn both, the Mac is easier to use as well.

It's not great when you buy a computer that's three times the price of a similar system, and uses an operating system that's half of it is based on another one.

I like Mac for it's reliability; I do a lot of programming and found Windows to be unreliable (at times) for that.

Obviously, the have their advantages and disadvantages, but for me personally, Mac is a clear winner. (And I'm buying a second one soon :D)
