Hello :)

So, I only recently really discovered the benefit of private messaging here, and how it was so wonderful to talk one on one with someone else, giving and receiving advice with no judgment. I know that a lot of people get help from other members this way by posting about their problem, but what if we had a forum devoted to people seeking out someone to message about different problems? So, if I was wanting to start in a certain career, I could ask to message someone who's also trying to get into that career etc. Essentially, asking for a more personal 'mentor' instead of doing a general post and seeing what comes of it. What do you think?

That's kinda the point of a forum, to get a bunch of different answers from different people. If you really wanted to talk to one person only, you could create the thread, see the responses, then pm one of the people who responded OR just pm someone randomly and ask them. The users on this forum are (usually) nice.

Forum, not thread :)

There's no need for a whole new section. It just has to go in the appropriate forum section, whether it's Education & Careers or something else.
