Maybe there needs to be some sort of system that tells us if we've posted in that thread already? Say someone asks a question. You reply to them, woohoo lifes great. A couple weeks later that same thread comes back. You can't remember if you posted there, you have memory loss.

We already have this. If you see this envelope symbol with the black dot in it, then you've posted in that thread already. http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/images/styles/fblue/statusicon/thread_dot.gif

There is a legend at the bottom of each section that shows you what those symbols mean.

The little message simple next to the Thread will have a burning envelope and if you hover over it it will say how many posts you have on the thread

We have this already. http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/images/styles/fblue/statusicon/thread_dot.gif appears next to a thread.

Also, if you click on the post count of any thread, it tells you who has posted and how many times.

I can add that you can also see how many posts you made and when the last one was posted if you hover over the icon
