Kissing in Public

I have never kissed a girl on the lips before. I was thinking about if I had a gf, would it be okay to kiss in public? Wouldn't it be awkward to kiss, even if it's a quick, in front of your friends or family? Do you feel that kissing in public especially those arousing, long type of kisses, are rude in public? Even kissing my friend on the cheek is weird at school.

I kiss my boyfriend in public and I don't find it awkward. Long kisses, however, are quite rude in public only according to some people. It'd be fine to kiss her in public because if you didn't she would probably think that you are embarrased of her or something.

Of course kissing is fine, but long ones or making out is considered rude by a lot of single people and few couples ;P You'll be fine, it really depends on the occasion and people I suppose.
