Hi all,

I have some links that i don't want to be accessible to my parents or my sister, but i do wanna save them, so i cannot just bookmark it, cause anyone can just open it and see.

i'm keeping a word document with password but its really.. primitive way. must be something better!

so how do you hide your "personal" links?

I manually right them on a paper and stash them the same place that I put my condoms...

stefanio91, there's a service called favsync (favsync.com). i'm using it.
it's a bookmarks manager with lots of stuff in it, but what's important is that it has what you need.
you have a tab there called "personal" so everytime you wanna access it, it asks for a password and then you can access the sites directly of course, so its convenient.

Google incognito works as well. I use both...

I memorize all them. I am fantastic at memorizing numbers and sequences.
I know both my parents credit card numbers, our social security numbers, all of our phone numbers, heck even my library card number from 8 years ago (which I don't have anymore).
22769101159006 was my library card number :P

rob5454, are you serious? :)

majka97, thanks! I think that's exactly what I need, but I will check it out tomorrow and let you know if it worked out for me :) nice thong, btw :DDDD

nova78, incognito won't show where i've been, but my question is how to save the links for later use (like saving bookmarks)

mrcharkteeth, how can you memorize full website addresses..? it's not possible :) sometimes I have link to a specific clip on the web, so the address is long.. i actually have more than 100 links saved now..

after playing with it for a day I can say it's really awesome and just what i needed! it's also much easier to collect links this way, i wasn't saving many because it wasnt convenient

thanks so much!!

I use this trick for any file and link i wanna hide : create a new folder...right click on the folder and open the propertiese . Change the folder icon to IE's icon and rename the folder to "internet explorer",open it and create another folder in it. Put your files in it. Hide the second folder you created ... And its done :p

guys, thanks for the suggestions but hiding it in folders, piece of paper or sign in of chrome is all workarounds and not better than putting it in a word document with password which i already did.

the site majka suggested has exactly this option so i advise you all to try it out also. if you have some stuff to hide then this will make it easier for you :)

It's easy, I just write a mail to myself and paste the links on it. That way whenever I want I can just open my mail and click the links I want. ;)

I don't use my computer for things like that. Even as I'm typing this, I use my Wii U for internet. That way I can bookmark all the "personal links" that I'd like.

kyler, how is that easy? then you have to search through hundreds of emails to find the links you want??
i have quite a big collection...
