Hi, I'm looking to get into decent shape this summer. I realize that I can't be ripped in 3 months over the Summer, but It would be nice to put on some muscle and just look better in general.

I'm not fat, but I have little muscle.

But I'm trying to put out a weekly workout routine. I'll put out what I have gotten so far for my average week and then am asking for advise if I can add certain things to it, or do this workout instead of one I put on their because another workout is more effective. And also if anybody has any advice for a diet.
I have a pretty good setup at my house to work out, their is a pull up bar, a big driveway to run in, my dad has a weight set and a swimming pool.

Monday
Run Across My driveway 30x back and forth, that is about 120 meters each time which gets me 3600 meters which is over 2 miles I think.

5 sets of 3 pull ups (this will hopefully increase as my arms get stronger and I can do more)

3 sets of 20 pushups (Increase reps as I progress)

2 Sets of 15 Lunges

Finish with 10 laps in the swimming pool (I would guesstimate that my pool is about 20 meters give or take so 40 meters per lap going back and forth=400 meters total)

Tuesday
Run 30x back and forth across driveway=3600 meters total.

3 Sets of 20 Squats (With 2 10 pound dumb bells)

5 sets of 3 Pull ups (Increase reps with progress)

3 sets of 10 Military Presses with 20 pound dumb bells

Finish with 10 laps in the swimming pool (400 meters)

Wednesday
Run 30x back and forth across the driveway=3600 meters total

3 sets of 20 pushups

2 sets of 15 Lunges

Finish with 10 laps in the swimming pool (400 meters)

Thursday
Run 20x back and forth across the driveway=2400 meters total

10 80 meter sprints. Do 10 Burpees in between each sprint.

Finish with 8 laps in the swimming pool (320 meters)

Friday
Run 30x back and forth across the driveway=3600 meters total

4 Sets of 20 squats

3 sets of 10 military Presses with 20 pound dumb bells

5 Sets of 3 pull ups (increase with progress)

3 Sets of 20 push ups (increase with progress)

10 laps in the swimming pool=400 meters

Saturday

Run 30x back and forth across the driveway=3600 meters total

2 sets of 15 Lunges

Sunday
Rest day but do stretches.

I would like feedback and tell me if I should add or change anything on here.
Also I would like advice for foods that are easy to make that are good for muscle building. Thank you!

I need to get a schedule similar to this for summer, I am overweight and need to get into shape. But it does look like a good schedule, ever consider just going for a jog some days instead of the laps in the driveway to change it up a bit?

I could do that but that would be more like hill running because my neighborhood is so hilly. I could try hill sprints or something one day I guess.

that sounds like a good workout routine but you got to add weights but dont do weights over your head because it can keep you from getting tall

I'm already 6 foot so I don't have to worry about that.

I really don't know what to say to this bs. It's 100% untrue.
