Really guys? It's his hair, he doesn't need to change it. (Hell, I think it looks neat and I'm not some "emo chick" as you put it.) Any girlfriend he gets will hopefully like him for who he is and how he wants to look. If she doesn't, then she's really not worth dating. If you don't like it, then it's not your personal preference but don't tell him to change it. Don't change to look like the kind of person you want to date in order to match them or become something they'll find attractive, just do whatever you want and someone will find you attractive for who you are not what others think you should be.
