When I was younger they used to happen at the same time and I've never it be cum and then orgasm which I guess is good. It seems like the mind blowing ones happen when the orgasm starts further in front of ejaculation, but I'm not that great at holding off ejaculation haha . Every so often it's like the orgasm starts and it wipes out the over sensitive feeling after ejaculation or something and then the feeling just get more and more intense from that point forward. Not sure how that works, but it's like their is another level of pleasure that's way, way more intense and lasts much, much longer. It's incredible, but doesn't happen often enough. :)

They are two separate things (chargersfan). Before we/I could ever ejaculate, I could give myself orgasms and people called them "dry cum" because you had some amount of pleasure from the orgasm, but no mess to deal with.

Usually they do but that is not hard-wired so they can happen at very slightly different times. This is more likely to happen if you have been edging which may explain why people have said it happens to them more recently and not when they first started, i.e. they may have discovered edging in the intervening time.

The other thing that may have a bearing on people feeling what seems to be two, separate but related events, is that ejaculation is actually a two-step process. There is a part called the "emission phase" which is where the various glands that contribute liquid to your cum contract so it all mixes together in the urethra (the tube that leads to the tip of your penis).

This is what happens immediately after the point of no return and is, in a sense, why it is the point of no return because once these fluids have been mixed together they can't be separated and stuffed back into the glands they came from.
