I'm only 5'4. I wish I was taller, but it is not something you can control.

Eating and sleeping on a regular basis with a good amount of exercise will encourage healthy growth.

You might not be done growing yet, so I think getting plenty of sleep and exercise might help.
Even if you don't grow more, 171cm isn't small, and I don't think height matters too much in football anyway. I play as a striker for 2 teams and i'm only 138cm, I come from a short family so I probs won't even reach your height. There's not much I can do about my height, but I do want to bulk up some when i'm older. I think strength in football is more important then height.

Do stretching exercises (focus on legs and core) , hang on bar, do pullups, get enough sleep, be hidrated and get calcium :)
You may grow a few centimetres, but if your genetics aren't made for height, you'll stay the same.

It's all about eating healthy foods and getting lots of sleep. Stay away from caffeine because it stunts your growth. Other than that, there's no way you can exercise to get taller. It doesn't work like that, man.

I realized that when you want to grow up you can't stop eating, the key is never deny something to eat, especially healthy stuff, and then work out to make it up. Also, do not do weights that are very heavy since that will slow down your growth.

Hey there! I know a few tips on how to grow taller.
Obviously, you can't chose how tall or short you are going to be, but a few things that you do can have an impact. Here are a few tips:
1) get enough sleep, you actually grow in your sleep, so if you get enough sleep, you will be more likely to grow a few extra inches in the long run.
2) eat properly and exercise, your muscles need enough protein to be able to grow and develop, and your brain needs enough nutrients to be able to carry out these tasks.
3) stretch! It sounds silly, but type into youtube 'exercises to help you grow' and it will come up with a few stretches and exercises that can help to get you taller
Hope this helped! :)

so you are as tall as your parents, about. so yea, you are MOST LIKELY done growing, may be wrong. But like everyone said, sleep well and eat healthy and exercise. i am around 1.90, and i know I still have about 10 cm to go. Tall dad, grandad(on both sides)

You'll probably get another 2-3 inches, but at 16 don't expect a miracle. 5'7 isn't that bad of a height anyways, try not to worry too much about it because there is honestly little to nothing you can do about your height.

I don't think there is a way to grow a lot in a short amount of time unless you wear shoes with a big sole.

You can't get taller really... it's 90% down to genetics and the rest is a good diet and exercise.

It depends on if you are still growing a little. If you are still in puberty and havent reached full adulthood yet you can still boost growth. From what I know the best you can do Is stretch, excercise, and eat good whole foods. Also, drink milk, and eat anything made from milk. And if you are really skinny you can just eat larger meals and hope your body can use it to grow a little more. But most of it is genetics. So there is no need to worry unless you are very much smaller then both your parents.
