So has anyone kept up with the case? Basically Alexander's body was discovered in a shower at his home. His throat had been cut, and he had been shot in the head and stabbed multiple times. There have been conflicting reports over the number of stab wounds, with some reports stating 29 and others stating 27 Maricopa County Medical Examiner, Kevin Horn, testified that Alexander's jugular vein, common carotid artery, and windpipe had been slashed. Alexander's hands also had defensive wounds.

She was found guilty in the first degree, but in the state of Arizona there is the option of the death penalty and the jury has to reach an animus vote, well the jury was now declared a deadlock and a new jury will take the case on July 18.
So what do you think, should she get death, life and no parole or life with parole after 25 years, and she served 5 already.

I've followed it only recently, but she deserves either death or life without parole. He fought back, but she took him by surprise. The way she killed him with a knife was brutal. Particularly what she did to his neck. Than after all that, she shot him in the head and dragged him into the shower.
She is a sick, sick person. She was taking pictures of him right before the murder, like seconds before and a few inadvertent ones during it. She's a psycho. Her biggest concern when arrested was that she be allowed to touch up her make up. While waiting to be interrogated, she was doing a head stand.
Then she just lied and lied and lied. Shows no remorse at all. She's never bothered to apologize to his family.
The minimum punishment I hope she gets is life without parole. Minimum. I, and many people, don't want her to ever have the hope of getting out, nor do we want to actually ever get out.
The guy she killed died a slow, horrible death. I'm not against the death penalty generally and in this case, I'm all for it. There is no doubt she did it, she has no redeeming qualities and it was a horrible death for him. So I have no problem with the death penalty being her sentence.

I think the death penalty is the lesser punishment in this case. Rotting in prison is what she deserves. She's shown no remorse for her actions, whatsoever. Actions that were brutal, in every sense of the word. I am for the death penalty, but she deserves worse, in my opinion. Anyone that thinks they have the right to take someone else's life should absolutely be punished in the worst way possible. Especially taking into account the brutality of the crime and her complete indifference to the whole ordeal. She's so cold and completely unfazed by the crime that it's quite sickening. I think she deserves nothing but four walls for the rest of her life. Life with no parole, in my opinion.
