Hi, I'm a 17 year old at sixth form. I didn't know a forum like this existed until now so I thought I better make a post. Here are a few of my problems/worries:

1. I have a small dark mark on the glans. It doesn't hurt or anything but I just don't know what it is...

2. I have little white bumpy bits near the head on the outer skin... Normal?

3. When, erm, soft I can easily move the foreskin back, but when hard it's a lot harder and only just passes the end of the end.

4. Sometimes I can see little raised bumps on the 'crown' of the glans..?

Any thoughts/help on any of these points would be greatly appreciated

you're concerns are normal. if you're not sexually active you have nothing to worry about. Just like our bodies have random marks and such so do our penises. Don't let your bumps and mark freak you out becuase it could change and its normal. You could see your dermatologist if you don't like the appearance of them but have confidence in your penis.

I agree if you haven't been sexually active it is likely that it isn't anything serious. everyone has a few marks here and there so you shouldn't worry too much about it. But it can't hurt seeing a doctor just incase it is serious or even the doctor mind find it isn't serious but they might have a way to clear it up if you are uncomfortable with it. :)

1) The glans get darker as you mature so those dark marks are normal.

2) The white things sound like hair follicles from what you described. They're simply places where hair may eventually grow in.

3) Well... You're foreskin stays the same size but your penis gets bigger when hard so... That's normal.

4) Not quite sure what that is, but it doesn't sound like any STD or STI I've heard of so it should be fine. The glans can change in appearance a bit depending on how much blood is flowing down there, so if that amount is fluctuating it could cause the glans to have little spots like that which full up first.

Also forgot to mention that if I were to pull back when hard and let go, the skin only moves up a little bit and then looks kinda stuck as if it's too tight? Although that might just be a lube thing now that I think about it.

Funny, i have like a brown freckle on my glans too. it's normal. if the bumps you're talking about look like goosebumps, that's normal. i've heard of foreskins being more difficult to pull back when erect, so that's normal also.

Really tight foreskin is called phimosis - dont worry, you are nowhere near that bad. A lot of boys get it to some degree. The skin will streach a bit more (given time), so you may find it will loosen up a bit after a while.

Well, n2 sounds like "Fordyce spots" ans n4 sounds like "pearly penile pauples". I've got n4 and just think of it as an exotic feature :D

Edit: I don't think it's ppp, they're not white or very big... Look kinda like goose pimples..

Just some more info - the little dark mark sort of looks like a reverse vertiligo mark if you see what I mean....
