School friends and friends...

Hey guys, so at school I have two types of friends. My friends I hang out with outside of school, and my school friends which I do not. How do I make that transition of hanging out with my school friends outside of school. We joke around and study together, but I don't know how to come about it. I feel if I use something like "Hey guys you want to hang out tonight?" seems cheezy. A few of them go to events. Should I go to the event as well and ask them if they would want to hang out?

When I'm first asking someone to do something with me, I do it in a no-pressure kind of way. Something like, "Hey, I was thinking of going to the mall tonight, wanna come along?" works wonders for me and isn't awkward at all.

no you are fine the way you are, dont go to the events if you don't want to go, stay and do what you like doing. just mike me I have my churh friends and school friends they are two different groups.

i have a small town and we are friends wth evrybody but even then i got my school friends and my school friends that i hang out with but i play tons of sports so i see them lots anyways and ya i liked bethanys answer its good advise and if i wanted to hang out more with some school friends that i dont see to much then mabey i could go to where they are going like a event or something and that would be good to

I don't see my friends other than at school. I do have an amusement park day with my karate class on June 8th, though. I would like to hang out with them there.

If you hang out with them at school and you meet them at an event, I don't see why you would have to ask if you can hang out, you should just do it the same as at school.

Yeah, I guess so. We have groups assigned, so I'm with my friend there. I will try to be social when I am there, because I have social problems. :D

I've never hung out with anybody outside of school, or even been to a friend's house. I sometimes think I don't even have friends.
