I liked the new Xbox, seems promising, especially with the new controller. I would like to see more gameplay on it and more exclusives announced. About the new CoD... I hope that franchise dies already with this one and all the developers run out of money and starve to death.

Just heard of XBOX One. Isn't it kind of an overrated TV box?

OMG some one understands me!
Yeah it's really stupid I have a Xbox I don't use the stupid cam thing :/
I use Xbox for chatting with friends, Netflix, and games. that's all why do we need tv channel thing?!
Also you can't lend games to other friends, if you lend a Xbox one game to your friend they have to pay a fee wtf?
PS4 for the win <3

The whole thing kind of sucked. I mean seriously, they're focusing more on TV and other unnecessary features rather than the gaming aspect. Also, I don't like the fact that the Kinect has to be hooked on all the time, and not to mention that there's no backwards compatibility, no second hand games...money grubbing Microsoft strikes again.
As for Ghosts...I liked the footage they showed, but I wasn't wowed. Last year, Black Ops II blew me away with the trailer, with what they showed at E3...everything. I guess I'll need to see a bit more till I can judge.
All in all, the conference sucked. Sony stock prices jumped by 9% after it, so that should speak volumes. The PS4 has the upper hand in the next-gen battle.

I've always preferred Xbox over Playstation; however, Xbox One has successfully killed the product for me. I'll be buying a Playstation in this next gen line up and playing with an Xbox controller if thinks stick as they are now. Daily forced internet connection is stupid and it's an entertainment system for God's sake. I want a game system, not a fucking TV box.
CoD: Ghost - I never cared for the CoD games regardless.

I think the Xbox One forgot to elaborate on a very important detail in their presentation, hmmm...Oh yeah, GAMES! It is just a over-the-top cable box with motion controls. And the idea that playing used games with actually cost you money is outrageous. I will refer you to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=KbWgUO-Rqcw

Wii U and XBOX ONE for me.
After last gen's fiasco, can't trust Sony. You never know when they will turn around and steal features away from your console even though you already paid for it.
Also anyone posting retarded comments about XBOX ONE being an entertainment system and not a gaming system... the only truly gaming-centric system next gen is the Wii U. PS3 and PS4 are both marketed as computer entertainment systems and not gaming systems. The difference is that on XBOX the entertainment part actually works and isn't removed with an update.

I'm only a casual gamer on my Xbox cuz I ain't paying $60 a year to play games online. If I were to get one of these next-gen consoles, it'd probably be the ps4. In a heartbeat.

When I originally heard of the Xbox One, I was pretty disappointed. Then I watched the opening presentation and was pretty impressed.

I'm not happy that it can't play Xbox 360 games... As for CoD. I hate it. I'm sorry, but people need to realize that every single Call of DUty game is the SAME EXACT THING! I mean it's just different maps and different guns. I see no other differences. I will probably get the One after a while though...

Not exactly... you could say the same for Halo, Battlefield, etc. if you say COD is the same all the time. From what I heard, COD Ghost abandons the original formula, or additions.

I prefer playing on PC, but for the next-gen console, I'd have to go with PS4. With the Xbox one, Nobody is going to think new Fifa innovation or a console cable box when they think next-gen, people want games, we already have TV's!

Well, I know it's not a fir comparison, but Grand Theft Auto IV came out in late 2007. About a month into the release if IV, they started making, the next GTA wich is V. When it comes out, it will be a little over 5 years for them to make it. It seems to me that every year a new CoD comes out... It's almost like they just slap it together... But yeah, GTA's a sandbox game...

Was never an Xbox fan so I'll be getting the PS4 anyway but this Xbox One really killed itself. Its all about TV, I have a damn DVR for that. You can't buy used games. Kinect is required and honestly WHO EVER USED IT BEFORE? They showed hardly any games at the conference.
COD sucks. They need to just stop being produced. For one they don't work on them at all. Graphics never change(I'm picky). They are all basically the same but with sometimes a new gun or few guns replaced with others. All Activision wants is your money that's why they don't work for shit on their games and just try to pass the games off as good while making shitloads of money off of map packs.

That is a better way to say it.

Apart from that,
I never understood why the consoles have so many new online features. I mean, I bought a console to play games, not watch online serials or anything else.
And,
To be honest, I really like CoD, even though many people say that it's repetitive. They may be right, but I don't really care. I don't really have big expectations for the new Cod, but I'll give it a shot.

Because Microsoft wants to create a console for the entire family. It is designed to be something that everyone can use to some extent. Also the console isn't that big considering the processing power and tech they have in it. Its actually smaller than I thought when we heard about the leaked specs so got to give them some credit.
-------------------------
My own opinion is that Microsoft fucked the launch greatly. They focused too much on what the machine does and not what the gameplay can do.
Also I've heard stuff about the canned applause and cheering they had, e.g. no one cheered apart from the Microsoft employees who were at the back of the conference and they just added "False, canned" cheering to make it sound better.
Point is they never focused enough on the gaming
Instead of showing watching the star trek movie and then the side by side internet, they could have done a game and then used the internet side by side to look a walk-through for that game.
Overall they fucked the launch by not focusing on the gamplay.
Sure some of the voice commands and hand gestures were cool, don't get me wrong they were. However as a Sony fan, I'm looking for gameplay not this. I am not that lazy that I cannot change the fucking channel and I need an Xbox one to do so.

I am not getting 8th Gen. To me 8th gen consoles are like the Wii console, something that is SO miserable to the gaming experience, I wouldn't get them FREE.

I like the look of Xbox One. The thing that intrigued me most was Ghosts. I think the campaign will be the most emotional campaign we've seen from a Call of Duty. If the dog dies I will be angry :P.
