So, there's a LGBTQ sorta support group thingy in my school. A while back, my only non-straight friend, Emma, offered to go with me to it when I came out first, and I was all like "HELLS NO"
But now I think it might be a good idea to go when we come back to school in September. Mainly to meet other gay/bi teens in my school, because there is a grand total of TWO LGBTQ students in my year, me and Aisling. Emma's a second year, soon to be third year, and she is like my sister. I'm not sure if I should go or not, and if I should go alone or ask Emma to go with me. Any advice guys?

Friends/supporters of any group should be recognized as honorary members.

Go with your friend to it.

I would go with her! If you like it, it could be really beneficial, and if you don't like it, you can just not go back.

Oh you think YOU have it bad :P
I'm the only LGBTQ male in my ENTIRE SCHOOL.
But seriously, it isn't the "best" idea because of the discrimination that STILL goes on over LGBTQ freedoms, or in a better way, "HOMOPHOBIA." But it is a good idea, I would go for it.
