I'm not in school and never dated a classmate or anyone from another school, but I prefer older guys around 19-22 as I've met more guys that age that are on par with my mental maturity than guys my own age..I've actually never dated anyone below the age of 18, but I've only had four actual relationships..

1st -- the advantage of dating an older guy by a grade or 2 is that our maturity levels may be better in sync since they say girls are typically more mature. But dating a guy in the same grade may not be bad. When I'm a junior in high school I may date a sophomore but now I wouldn't date a guy in elementary school or when I enter high school I may not date someone in middle school.

I never said the girl should be small and defenseless like a pet, you said that. I just said that I feel the guy should be older than the girl so you arent dating a girl whos bigger than you.

I think girls like older guys, because they're more matured mentally and sexually. And i think guys like younger girls because they feel like they can protect them more (sense of manliness).

I swear the girls mature faster than guys (exceptions of course) is true. I'm a guy and from about grade 3-4 I started hanging out mainly with girls , I always just assumed it was because im bi-gay (still deciding lol) but recently I went to this school camp thing and had to stay with these guys separate from the girls at night, they were really nice and we got along except every chance I got I would hang out with the girls. I finally had epiphany that I just found the guys humour just stupid and that we just weren't on the same maturity but with the girls it was just easier to communicate!:)

I'd rather go with someone in my own grade, but since that option isn't here.. I'd have to choose Higher, I'd want a more mature and responsible woman or girl, not a child.

It can be fun or sad/boring.

I'd like a younger girl. I like holding someone smaller and younger in my arms, though one grade usually doesn't make a difference.

A grade higher. I seem to like older boys, maybe because they're generally more mature....but the same grade would be okay too.

As long as it was just a 1 year difference, I really don't care that much if it is younger, same or older. All of my girlfriends have been same age though, partially due to being from a tiny town where anything otherwise is looked down upon.

I would rather date somebody who has graduated high school. I've only been in one relationship, which was recently, and I was 18 while he was 23. I was supposed to graduate this past school year, but since I'm behind in credits I have an extra year of high school. So if I dated somebody a grade lower than me, they'd technically be two grades lower than me. I don't like the idea of dating a guy younger than me. I guess a year younger than me might be okay, but only if they were a mature person. But any younger than that would just be really weird for me.

I said lower because i am a bit old fashioned. i dont want to sound like a womanizer, but i feel that in a relationship the man has to be the one that is more superior. he has to make a little bit more money, he has to be good at this or that at times. I believe that over the next decade or so that wont change because what i am saying has been happening for years and i feel that if we as men were in a relationship and the woman was most superior it would look obscure. Also daughters get their mothers " talents ", what i mean by this is that over the past century or so woman have learned that undermining or throwing a man's mistake in his face will a lot of the times hurt their ego. So if the GF had a higher grade it will be likely that in a fight or conversation she will throw that fact in his face.
message or just quote me if you think i am wrong or right, etc
