its always nice to have that, as long as you arent too good of friends with the person! I think as long as you are having protected sex and both parties agree to it, then i dont see anything wrong with it. i wouldnt go out and ask her if she wanted to hook up with you though.... she could take it the wrong way. get to know her and if she shows interest in you then go for it

You need to have moves to get this sort of arrangement. You need to wow the girl, make her want you, make her horny without even trying.

If you can't do that, don't bother "asking". Friends with benefits just happens. For example, I invite a girl over for a few drinks and we end up sleeping together - that is the time you'd say "That was pretty great, definitely need to do it again!"
