I've tried it and gotten as close as I could get, but haven't been able to dream ever since I tried a couple years ago.

when I found out what lucid dreaming is, turns out that was how i was dreaming ever since i was a child. I don't really do anything it just occurs to me that I am in a dream and I kinda go through it like i would everyday life.
sorry, I didn't help

Yes, i've done it a few times before and it is FRICKEN AWESOME..... You're like a God heheheheheh.... The hardest part is realising you're deaming inside your dream.....
Just keep doing tests in real life when you are awake such as saying "Am i sleeping?" If you say it enough, eventually your subconscious will think of it while you're sleeping and then you realise.

After reading what that is, it just happened to me the other night. I remember seeing something in a dream and then saying to myself in the dream, "no, that was in the last dream". Or if I have a repeating dream, I'm often know in the dream that it's a repeating dream. And then I've dreamed that I had a bad dream and woke up from it in my dream and then realized I'm still dreaming. If only I could video record that stuff.

i have. i dont do it every night, but im getting better.
there arent simply instructions to it, not real ones.
thats like asking for instructions to be creative.
the more you try to do it, the less successful youll be.
the simplest way to do it, is to grow your consciousness, which takes dedication.
if you work on remaining fully conscious throughout the day, lucid dreaming will become much easier. try beginning a daily meditation.

Lucid Dreaming is when you are aware you are dreaming and can control it.
Most people read up on it then have a cool dream and say they were aware when they really weren't... The closest I've had to one is when I was walking to the gym with my friend in a dream and then he said something which made me aware for a second then I just woke up

im confused is it when you wake up from a dream? (ive done this alot in nightmares) or when you can do/ think about whatever you want?(never came close to this)

Lucid dreaming is where you are aware you are dreaming and can control it to a degree. Lucid dreamers can also usually wake themselves up if they want.
This screwed my friend over though, she's been a lucid dreamer for years and is usually quite capable of waking herself up if her dreams became in any way distressing. However, not too long ago she had a dream where she though she woke herself up but actually just dreamed it. Then it happened again. And again. All in the same dream. She woke up extremely disorientated.

I've had lucid dreams before, but not intentionally. Maybe I'll try over the summer.

I get this a lot, not even joking and I don't even try but then before I used to always type down my dreams when I wake up so maybe that helped. I always know that I was dreaming.

I had it few times, but I don't go too extreme to the point of control. But yeah, I had some control in dreams.

But it is exactly this, even if you realize this is a dream and you can control your body, you just go on what you do as you normally do in a daily life.

We've never talked about this before. I dream the same way, but a lot of the time it's you in my dream telling me it's a dream or something about it. I remember one time you saying something like, "this is a stupid dream, do a better one".

I haven't dreamed in months. Last thing I dreamed about was being with a girl.
I wish I had my dreamland back. I was so much happier there. I need an escape.

I actually have that most of the time. Honestly I get scared when I'm not sure if I know if it's a dream or not since usually I know ;s .

I usually just remind myself before bed to realize that I will be dreaming soon and if I remind myself to try to lucid dream, it usually happens. Lucid dreaming is the greatest thing ever!
