When do you think it will happen? Who do you think it will be between? What do you think will happen? What will the world be like after?

I think it's going to happen between the Western powers and the east.
Clash of religion and politics.
I believe we will escalate to nuclear warfare, and many lives will be lost.
The world won't be apocalyptic, but very bad.

alot of people think some of the current conflicts will lead to it, but i disagree.

it wont dissolve were praticly the same but it wouldnt be west vs east anyway as the g8 cant go to war and no one wants ww3 we prefer little wars and bombing campaigns like serbia and Afghanistan

If anything history disproves you, look at the Warsaw pact. Those countries were similar and engaged in something a lot stronger, I mean the G8 is a piece of piss. All it takes is one coup or one border incident an G8 will split, they have no real power. I mean NATO nearly split when De Gaulle withdraw France from the troop pool. Alliances don't last for ever

true but we have similar laws etc and the SAS actually work with delta force, thats how close we are but I agree this can all go very fast but I believe that no one wants a war with anyone eles in the g8, at least not with everyone stockpilng nukes

Countries aren't stockpiling Nukes anymore, that only happened in the 80's, hence why there are so many arms treaties involving them now. Laws mean fuck all and I believe we worked with the Taliban to fight the Russian in the 80's. A lot can change in 50 years

britian is not I dont think america is but russia and China is and isreal has over 400 nuclear bombs they can drop any where in the middle east

When I read the OP's post I thought of that same Einstein quote, nice!
And the concept of a world war indicates it will be the majority of the world fighting it.
Most people remember WW2 as the US, USSR, Britain, Japan, and Germany, but something like over 75% of all countries in the world were actively fighting in it.
What will cause it, there could be many things, the Middle East, problems in Asia with China and the US/Japan, North Korea, India and Pakistan have been on the brink of war for decades, the collapse of the EU could be devastating.
None of them will be good though.

I do not know what sides would be fighting on World War III, however I believe with the growing population and compassion of weak people the fight will be for the last recourses like oil, water, and food.

I do hope nothing of the sot happens, because war is generarly bad and i am not about to be the 5th generation in a row to be forced to arms by war.

If ww3 would happen i would have to grab a gun to protedt my country, from the forests and mountins (i would newer join the regural army thow)
