Ok so I live in the U.S and I work at a Jaguar dealer. Tomorrow we are receiving our first 2014 F-Type and I'm so excited. I have waited for this car for years. However I'm afraid that when I see it and eventually drive it I may be disappointed and think that it's just one of those cars that belongs on a poster on your bedroom wall.
So what are your opinions on the new F-Type? I think it looks beautiful and from the YouTube videos I've seen, it sounds great. I'm just afraid of it being worst than I am expecting it to be. 5495

Update: Our first F- Type arrived yesterday. We actually got two, however I'm safe to report that the F- Type is perfect in every way possible. It is probably the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. All I need to do know is drive it and then I will report back on that.

That car is HAWT! Although it is just a car, so don't get so worried over it.

I actually do not find it that appealing, I'll stick with a DeLorean for the same price.

Update: so today I got to drive the F-Type V6S. They say never to drive your childhood dreams because they will be crushed. I'm safe to report that this is so not the case. The car is incredible. It is the loudest thing I have ever heard, it is so fast I couldn't believe it, the gear changes are precise and smooth and the ride and steering is superb. This is the only sports car a person should buy. Screw your Ferrari's, Porsche's and Lambos. Just buy an F- Type. Best part is, it is the cheapest out of all of them.

I love it, and it is a hell of a lot better than Porsches. But its only cheaper than Ferraris and Lambos because its less of a car. Its slower to 60, has a lower top speed, and doesn't gather the same attention. When someone pulls up in a Jag, and someone pulls up in a Ferrari 458, the Ferrari is going to get a hell of a lot more attention.

Again, the F-Type is a great car, but it is in a completely different league than Ferraris.

I know the Jag is in a different league than the Ferrari's of the world. However I adore that car so much that is someone offered me a Ferrari 458 or a F-Type V6S built to my specs, I would take the Jag. In my opinion it is much better looking, more practical (even though the Jag is impractical already) better sounding and I thing just a better car. That's my opinion though. I wouldn't care about turning heads, I care about the smile on my face while I'm driving that car. Have have driven a 458 and I will say the Jag was more exciting and made me happier than the 458 did.

Yeah I'd definitely rather have the Jag as a daily driver. It would be so much more usable on normal roads.
