Straight guys: How long does it take to get hard? How would I perform with a girl?

So, I went to my friends house and he went to his girlfriends house and he was talking about how he was wanting to have sex with her, and he said he could "hook" me up with her friend. I don't know what I'd do in such a situation.

But I was thinking about how I would perform. I mean, no matter how hot she was of beautiful, I don't think I'd be able to get hard by just looking at her naked. It'd probably take 5-10 mins to even get hard. Now, I'm just aski, but if a situation like that did occur, how can I make sure I'd get hard?

first off (and it's easier to say than do, is don't stress. The more you stress, the more dificult it is to get hard, and that makes you more stressed.
second, there's nothing to say that you should get naked immediately! You will spend some time making out, and if you're enjoying the moment (not stressed), nature will take its course :-)
