View Full Version : Pressure to lose V-Card

I'm 16, in high school, almost end of my junior year. I've been hearing quite a few people talking about themselves and their first time losing their virginity. Some of those people are people that look like they're still a virgin. Studies show that on average, people lose it around 17, and when I overheard the people in my table group talking, they said many lost it in their freshman year (14-15).

1. Should I be pressured into losing my virginity at this age?
2. When you lost your virginity (if you did), did you regret it that decision?
3. When you lost your virginity (if you did), did you lose it with someone just because, or with someone in a relationship?
4. At what age did you lose your v-card?

I can only answer the first question... and the answer is NO.

Its not something you should do because you feel pressured into it, or because all your friends say they have done it, or because it seems like everyone your age does it.

Don't go around searching trying to loose it, let it come naturally, in a sense. Sure it might be something you want to get rid of, but you also don't want it to be some person you'll end up completely hating later in life, because after all your first time is the most memorable.

I'm 18, still a virgin. I fear as many have just said they have not to be left out. loose it when you are ready, with the right person, not cos of peer pressure

Ok don't believe all you hear.

Just what is your assumption of what a virgin looks like?

No do not feel pressured
I do not regret it but might regret it at some point.

I lost mine when I was 16 and I'm still 16, but I'm turning 17 in less than 2 months. Just do it whenever you feel like doing it or have a chance to do it. It's not bad losing it than girls losing theirs.

No regrets at all, I wasn't forced into it and neither she was so we had a great time.

I'm turning 19 in a couple of months and I still haven't lost mine. Its nothing to be ashamed of. I'm waiting for the right person, and thats what you should do. Don't just throw your V-card out there, I feel like if you do you will regret it.

I have kinda the same problem. In my case I will be 18 in a few weeks, and I alway said I would lose my "V-Card" before 18. But I have a big posibility of losing it, becasue I have a vewry close friend (actually like a girlfriend) and she is not virgin and one year older, and I probably have sex with her, (Actually I really love her too). So... You know lol.
Well If you feel ready Do it, But if you don't, Just Wait until you feel ready. I'm doing it becasue I WANT, no Because Other People are pressuring me. You should do the same thing.

Its not something u loose, or toss away, or anything else.
It is a VERY PRECIOUS GIFT that you only have one of.
Give it ONLY to some one you care for and abt. You can never get it back, and yoj can never give it away again.

Dont ever feel pressured to give it away prematurely, in a "single boner moment" or in a drunken stupor. You will ALWAYS remember your 1st time. Make it an awesome memory, not just "somebody you dumped a hot load into."

I waited, and gave mine (and she gave me hers) to a girl i loved deeply. We talked abt it b4hand, including birth control. It was natural, easy, loving, and i will never forget it.

Dude, it u just wanna get off, then just jerk off.

Ok...enuf of my lecture.....sorry if its so long.
Pm me if u want more.

Personally, I think 16 is too young to lose your virginity.

Don't just lose it with anybody just for the sake of losing it. I'm 17 (18 in September) and I'm still a virgin. I've just not been with the right person yet, and I don't feel a pressure to lose it really.

Again, i just think it depends on the circumstances. Who cares about the pressure, try not to let it get to you. Im a virgin, and idrc haha. Just go with the flow, youll lose it at the right time
