Well there's a girl in my math class I like a lot but since I've moved from physics to ITC my math class has also been switched to suit my timetable, so basically I'm not in her maths class anymore. I want to ask her to the movies, just me and her this weekend but as friends to see how it goes then if all goes well, pop the question to see if she'd like to date. How will I do this if I won't see her at school?

If you have her phone number, send her a text to meet you some where and ask her to the movies then. Or call her and do the same.

If you want to get to know her better, study together once in a while after school, then it would be more natural to ask her to do other things outside of school.

If you don't have her number, see if you can find it out from one of her friends? Do you have any mutual friends?

I'd say just look out for her at school.
Or, you could ask if any of your friends knows her and could be a liaison between the two of you for that first date.
