My "rules" to follow.
First of all, never in a public shower. If you're showering with someone, always ask them first. If they say "no" then don't do it...or you can negotiate like let them turn backwards, position yourself by the drain, let them close their eyes, or do whatever they need to do.

I don't like it on my legs, but it all washes off, but I still try to spread the legs a bit and aim for the drain. From what I hear, some people will squat with their butt over the drain...others will pull their "hole" forward.
