Hey, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but I need some advice. My names Lucy, and I'm 16. I thought I'd post here because it's medical. Today, I found out I'm pregnant. My boyfriend and I have been together for five months, and of course this was completely unplanned. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice/experience? I have no idea what I'm going to do, at the moment I'm the only person who knows. If someone could give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated :)

I nave never had this happen so I don't really have advice... but there is currently a 13 year old girl at my school who messed around with someone and now she's pregnant. All I can say is you need to tell someone.

I agree with what was said above. You need to tell someone.
I know how hard that is, but you really do. It can be anyone - your boyfriend, a teacher, a doctor, your parents, etc. It's way better they find out from you than from someone else or through a guessing game. I don't know how far along you are (although I'll assume not long), but eventually you'll show and people will realize. It's important you start seeing a gynecologist, so you can start getting proper prenatal care, for the heath and safety of you and your baby. Your body will go through some new things, and it's important to let someone know. I know there's probably a ton of thoughts going on - keeping it, abortion, adoption, etc. You can't make a decision like this totally on your own, another reason to talk to someone. I'd strongly urge you to keep/give it up for adoption, but honestly, in the end, it is your body and your decision.
I know it's really hard, but you really need to do it. I wish you the best of luck, and I'm always here if you need support. :)
