Okay so Im not medically antisocial (that I know of) but Im just really awkward. I know its a common thing but Im really bad. I talk to people and stuff but I have like 4 friends that I talk to outside of school and 3 out of the 4 are girls which is another thing, I am extremely awkward around my own gender. Its really irritating but I just don't know how to not be awkward around another guy or people in general.Help?

Perhaps you could ask some advice from your close knit friends, or even practice on them. I know it may sound silly but I believe that practice makes perfect.

I know there's books and videos about how to improve this sort of thing. Maybe you should try exploring what about you causes this. "The first step in fixing a problem, is knowing why it exists".

Im exactly the same! Although all my friends are girls and I am a girl I only have 3 friends who I see outside of school but im super awkward like:

Friend: 'hey bored4evah! How are you?'
Me: (mumbles) tired'

That's my usual response, although I do have one friend who im really open with about everything. So your not alone

. I have 2 close friends and if i don't have a class with either of them I hardly talk at all. Idk if you would be willing to go this far, but this is what I'm doing:

Next year is our senior year of high school. I basically already know both my friends schedules so I planned different classes than they have. That way I'll be practically torn away from them most of the day and put around other people

At least you can hang out with friends outside of school. I've never did that. Hell, my friend lived IN THE SAME APARTMENT BUILDING, and we never hung out.

Top that!

I've never been any good at making friends. There's a few kids in school I'm sort of friends with, but not best friends with anyone. There aren't many kids in the building I live in and they're either real little or older thugs.

In all honesty, I'd rather be awkward around guys and good with girls than the other way around. If you ask me, you got a gift son. If guys ever make fun of you because you hang out with girls then they're probably just jealous that they can't talk to girls without sweating and getting an erection. Just saying.

I have the same kind of issue, I struggle starting sentences and keeping them going. The only way that we can fix this is by talking to people face to face who we don't speak to. I know its awkward.

Here if you need me.
