The thing I value most in a relationship is if I'm having fun or not. And that can be different things for different girls. I started sailing because I dated a girl that was into sailing. I dated another girl who liked to hear me play my guitar and we had fun times with that. I dated a nerdy girl into games. The thing I ask myself is can she make me happy, and for me anyway. Sometimes it's a girls looks. Sometimes it's her personality. Personally I don't turn it down because a girl doesn't fall into my fav image. I like long straight dark hair, but the last girl I saw had short blond hair.

The thing for me is, is she gonna be fun to be with, or just a huge drag? Will I enjoy making it with her? Can she act like a friend? Can I trust her? Will she laugh at my stupid jokes? I dated a hot girl that was an activist and everything was a rant about the evil republicans. Terrible time. Another girl was really funny and smart but cut herself, always made me worried sick. But like i said. One girl, all she really liked was me playing the guitar. She used to sing right beside me. And that's all that took.

1. I value a lot in a relationship. You have to be comfortable, similar personalities (Not really but it helps), funny.
