Is it like being naked if you are seen by someone? In my experience, it isn't too big of a deal to be seen in your underwear by family members. We don't just hang out in underwear, but if I'm dressing or getting ready for school, I may walk to/from the bathroom in just my underwear and maybe a t-shirt. With thong underwear, your butt is exposed. Just wondering what that is like for girls. This is something that I'd ask a sister if I had one. Just a random curious question that crossed my mind. I doubt I'm the only one wondering...

I guess because I don't have sisters I just don't understand (or I'm just weird).

It isn't uncommon for me, or my guy friends, to be seen at home in their underwear. I just wondered if things were the same for girls. I have talked to girls at school and many of them wear thongs as underwear. My guess is that they might be seen in regular underwear at home, but not thongs cause that's almost the same as naked.

I'm a guy, I think weird things sometime. I need closer girl friends to answer these questions in a non-weird way.

Its not the same as being naked, but obviously your butt feels exposed (because it is). Around the house thongs would get a bit more taboo, but its because they are inherently more sexy and generally dont need to be worn around the house. Most girls (i'd assume) would find more comfort in panties or boyshorts and so really have no need to wear thongs around the house.

I only have thongs. A few years ago I decided to only wear either them or none at all. So everytime I bought a thong I threw one of my panties away untill there were none left ^^

I never really thought about it being revealing wondering around the house in my thongs untill my sister started teasing me. My brothers never cared, nor did my parents. I thing it was just her own self-consciousness that made her jealous of my carelessness. After that it got me more conscious about my attitude, but that only added to the fun of being backless :D
