dancing

[Blaahh]

I'm not sure if this is the right spot, but it somewhat has to do with dating I guess so here goes.

Well I'm going to a party tonight with some friends and there's gonna be some girls there, and one whom I like, and people say she might like me too. So I'm thinking about dancing with her at the party to get a closer relationship with her, that will possibly lead to us dating. Anyway, the problem is... I have no idea how to dance, what so ever, period. It makes me so mad how one little thing can make you look like a complete fool and I really don;t want things to go bad tonight. I really need some advice on how to not make myself look like an idiot on the dance floor. Does anyone have any tips on how I can dance without looking like I obviously don't know how, etc?

Sorry you got no replies for the Big Dance, but better late than never, there's always a next dance!

The easiest way to learn any new skill (including dancing) is to watch others do it. So, when you take your Lovely by the hand to the dance floor, just watch her 9and the people around you) and imitate them. It's not that hard, it's mostly a lot of jiggling and swaying.
