How do i get in the chat room? Is It public or private?

Up in the top right corner of the page, under your name, there is a link that says 'Chat Room'. Click that.

Yeah but once I go there I can't get in. Is there an invisible bouncer?

It will be Java. Make sure you have it or are not blocking it

What exactly does it say?

You'll need to have Java installed on your computer, and make sure your browser is up to date.

Indeed. Chat does not support mobile devices unless we purchase the mobile edition, which I can guarantee you will not happen. It aught to work if you try in on a computer, and if it doesn't, do what they said above. :)

Just as a suggestion, I know the chat is working fine right now but if it's ever switched to a different one, please find one that uses flash or something. Old android devices run flash (before 4.0 I think). I have no idea about Apple products though.

People shouldn't even consider making a mobile function for VT's chat. The chats, more often than not, are far too fast paced for most mobile users to keep up. I'd find it hard to keep up even on a large tablet, to be honest.
