Of course this wouldn't stop the darn pedos, but maybe the puberty forum should have NO POST COUNT like Vt Arcade. Mabe it'll discourage the p101'ers (people that only use the puberty forum)from abusing the site.

Nah, that's pointless imo. We'd might as well just have no post count at all if we do that. It's okay for p101ers to be here, just like there are people who only use the psychward and stuff. I don't see how disabling post count would help anything.

I don't agree with this. Some people in P101 produce really thoughtful and contributing posts. We don't count posts in Arcade and the Introduce Yourself forum because they genuinely don't have any real meaning. I don't see what you mean by P101ers "abusing" the site. Abusing the site would be posting spam, flaming, advertising, etc. I really just don't see the point in this.

It wouldn't discourage them from abusing it. They abuse it for laughs, not posts counts.

This.
Disabling post count isn't going to work.

We can't punish the masses for what some individuals do.

It would still get abused even without the post count. I don't think this is needed.

I think of myself as someone that posts everywhere. (except for self harm because I don't know much about it...) I mean p101ers have their spot. They need help and they help people. I don't see anything wrong with that.

It's not punishing.

How so?
I believe it is,
We are preventing a majority from gaining post count just because a minority use the post count increase in p101 to abuse the PM system.

I also believe that this may encourage spammers. By having no post count, like in the arcade and into forums, it has a more "free" feel. There won't be too many that do it, but it may give some people the idea that the forum doesn't matter, which A) is wrong, because it does matter, and B) may make people believe the forum is not modded as much. I have seen this happen in other forums when a forum doesn't allow post s to be counted.

I think we should still have it in place. The only forum I spam is arcade, for kicks. If I post anywhere else, I make worthwhile posts. No post count just encourages spam everywhere.

I don't think disabling post count will do anything at all. It most certainly won't prevent "abuse" because it doesn't affect the P101ers at all. By disabling post count their post counts will just be lower, the same amount of abuse will continue to happen.
