You can't expect your body to function and be able to play sports and exercise if all you're eating is fruit and water, that's not nourishing yourself properly, and you could do more harm than good. If you're really keen on losing weight, go and see your health professional.

In order to lose weight properly (That is loss weight healthily) you need to eat a balanced diet. If you don't know what that would look like, google it.

well first of all DONT stop eating that is the absolute worst thing you can do, fruits and water are not enough for your body to run normal. How much do you weigh? are you overweight? if so you need to get on a good diet and exercise plan.

The key is exercise. Not so much the food. I lost 10kg in 2 weeks and all I ate was McDonalds. How? Exercise. All i did, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm was go skateboarding. I lost weight in seconds. But honestly, even that isnt a good idea. You should eat smaller amounts of meat and diary products, and more vegetables. But eat both.

You need a balanced diet and plenty of exercise. During cross country season I eat at least 3,000 calories a day and don't gain a pound. Just eat a lot of whole grains, fruit, vegetables, nuts, and dairy and get plenty of aerobic exercise.

Balanced diet and exercise do wonders.
Eat a lot of fruits and veggies to start. Keep a lot of potassium as well.
