Does anyone watch HIMYM? I do, and love it, despite the general declining quality of the show :D

What did you guys think about the finale? I have to say, I'm a little disappointed haha, last night's episode felt like the last one before a finale. I'm more interested in Lily and Marshall's plot now, to an extent, because I know the Mother will disappoint me either way. I don't know how the writers are going to write her and Ted's interactions in the last season, but I'm concerned that it's going to be a big letdown.

I loved it. I do agree this season is kind of lacking. Although, this season was trying to show us how depressed Ted is. So you know, all in all it's fine. :P

In Germany every adolescent whatches How I Met Your Mother (at least everyone I know loves it)! Unfortunately, the final season is not yet aired here on public tv..

I loved it, but it's been feeling a bit fatigued in the past couple of seasons, so I'm glad next season is going to be the last. I want it to end on a high point, and not turn into a flaming piece of crap. :P

I'm not a big fan of it, I mean I find parts of it funny like how marshall dropped a sandwhich on the floor and ate it or how Barney has the family to act for his mum but I feel like it needs to be cut short. Just tell us who the mother is

It has gone on way too long. It is still a good show though and they have a lot of good cameos from other actors.

I was definitely disappointed with the end of season 8. I was honestly ready for the show to come to an end as it has been dragged on way too long... I hope it has a good ending and I definitely can't wait for season 9!

As cool as the show is, I don't think it needs a spin-off in the form of How I Met Your Dad. If this last season wasn't as good as it is right now, I'd definitely agree the show should've ended earlier, but at least they're getting it done right.
