Why do so many teachers just assume your lazy and unmotivated when honestly you dont get what there teaching! Why dont they just explain it another way to help instead of giving up and labeling you stupid??? I try but I guess I just dont learn the right way for something but almost all my teachers hate me and kill me on these progress reports I have to do every week and I get in trouble.

Argh. I dont even care about school anymore. I'm not lazy or whatever you think teachers. :-\

I don't like when that hapoens either... It's usually the other way around for me though. I don't understand anything and I'm too lazy to do it. Or I understand it but I don't want to prove it by doing multiple problems when I would rathet be doing something else.

I had a history teacher like that. One time I forgot an assignment, and he could swear up and down I didn;t do it because I just didn;t want to.

Ehh they just assume shit like that because there plenty of people who actually are lazy and don't try...teachers are just asses sometimes like that

I don't know. Maybe it's because that they had other people really not care? You might be that one who genuinely forgot, but the teacher is probably so used to kids slacking off in their class.

If you are really struggling with something go to the teacher after class, during lunch, before school or some other available time. This way the teacher sees that you are really trying but truly just need help understanding. Most teachers do want to see you succeed and will be willing to help or tell you how to get whatever help you need.

I'm going to give your teacher the benefit of the doubt here.
They can see that you don't understand something, and for a while they might think it just needs some time to sink in. So they give you a few days. But when it appears you still don't understand, they get disappointed. They probably told you to ask them -- during class if it's relevant, after school, during lunch, etc -- and they would really like you to do so.
But you didn't. You apparently didn't feel like understanding the topic, so they think less of you. This can come across as random hatred, but really, it's not.

So do both yourself and your teacher a favour and go visit them. Tell them what you don't understand and let them help.

It's important to let the teacher know if you don't understand something, if you just nod your head and say yeah, but don't really understand that's not the way to learn.
