Hey guys, I just decided to join here today. It looks like a nice community, and I was looking for somewhere with a good vibe that was for teens. I'm a member of a couple of dog forums and a psychological health forum, but they are all-ages and the dog forums, which I'm more comfortable on, are places I don't want to necessarily post so much personal stuff. It's a dog forum, not a "me" forum. It just seems weird there to post issues.
I actually looked for a foster kid forum, but couldn't seem to find any, so I settled on this one. There have to be a couple of foster kids here somewhere, right? I'm hoping, anyway. It'd be nice to have someone to relate to.
I'll probably be hanging around the darker forums more often, but you'll see me lurking everywhere else, too... especially the art forum! I love to draw and work digitally. :)
I adore my animals (a dog and two snakes; crazy for a foster place, right?) more than most people but I swear I'm friendly! I like to talk, but I can be a little iffy at first, so sorry if I come off as standoffish.
But um, yeah. Pretty much me in a nutshell.
Oh, I'm seventeen and in the process of coming out as gay. And I'm a girl. :P It's not as terrifying as I thought it would be, but I do get the occasional disgusted look when people find out I like girls. :\ Ah well. Not much I can do about it, sadly.
But anyway, yeah. You can call me Renna, Ren, or Jade (actual name) if you want! I'm good with them all. :D
I'm hoping to find some friends here and I hope I can consider this place kind of a "safe haven" when I get too overwhelmed. Glad to meet you all and be here. :)
