Hey guys this is kinda my last place to turn so hopefully you guys have a solution. My router is a Belkin DB750 and it started out working fine and progressively got worse. Right now at this point in time it takes a good 5 minutes for any of my devices to even find the internet connection, and after it does finally find the connection it is the slowest connection ever having to stop and buffer minute long YouTube videos etc... The other thing it does is when a device is connected to the wifi if I turn on another that has to connect it will kick off the first device. I.e if I turn my ps3 on then turn my laptop on it will kick the ps3 off and if I try to connect the ps3 again it will kick the laptop off. Sorry if this doesn't make much sense but I've been through like 3 routers and this one isn't even close to being old and I am not looking to replace it. Thanks in advance for any help.

You'd have to dig around in the settings. Otherwise, it might be your ISP. If your internet plan has some sort of data cap(several gigabytes per month, for example), exceeding it will give terrible speeds. It will probably fix itself at the end of the month. Does your ISP's website show you how much you've used?

As for the router kicking things off, it's probably an IP address conflict -- those two devices are trying to use the same address. In your PS3's network settings, there is a setting somewhere that allows you to set your IP. Set it to automatic(DHCP), or pick a number you know is unique. If you can't find it there, look on your laptop for the same setting.

Try your favourite search engine and look it up there, too.
