The Albanians who lived there started commiting ethnical cleansing of the Serbs there. Milosevic sebt the police and the army to deal with the rebellion. It became a war. NATO intervened by bombing bridges at Novi Sad (a city waaaaay North), on Kosovo and it's vicinity. Many civilians were identified crossing, but the bombs were dropped. Many factories were bombed. Some hospitals. Mostly non-military objectuves. The airforce and the AA defences tried their best to defend our airspace, but we got hit. The whole intervention ended up in creating the Anerican puppet state, Republic of Kosovo. The violence against the Serbs continued even until today, and the NATO organised troops are not doing shit to stop them. Essentially the intervention and the stupidity of our leaders at that time got us in more and more shit. Yes NATO used old luster bombs and there are cases of civilians and military personell getting killed by the remaining bombs even today.

So since they are inaccurate, why not cause some civilian casualties. Many civilian casualties occured due to cluster bombs falling of course into civilian areas. That was still wrong. Killing mostly civilians for extra storage. That is on par if I wanted to clear a chemical weapons stockpile by bombing my enemies with them.

You cannot counter a F-16 with an old MiG-21, even though we had like 60. We had 5 malfunctioning MiG-29s which in theory were capable to take down a F-16. Yes we shot down dozens of DRONES, unmanned aircraft. We shot down a stealth fighter, damaged two and shot down 15 other planes max.

You are overstating smal local actions by unconected Serb grups, that might have been led or at oest inspired by Miloševič.
The serbian army had to enterven because of the crime happening in their own country, Republic of Serbia, Tachi and his man comitted unspicable acts of teror (including plaing footbal with the heads of serbian civilians), and before you ask of a source this time the sourxe is the unconvicted Thaci himself, that is why there came to an armed conflict between Serbs and albanians.
