I'm not sure if this has been posted, so forgive me if it has. I noticed that my foreskin is still very slightly attached to my penis head. I'm not circumcised, btw. I'm nearly 14 and have started puberty - mainly voice and some hair.

I have three questions:

a. Does anybody else have this?

b. will the foreskin eventually separate completely?

c. Should I be concerned?

If the skin is attached to the back of the head with a little "string" of skin, it's called the frenelum and its normal.

if the skin is like "sticked" to the head, its not so much normal, so you might want to see a doctor about it, but you will not necessarily need to be circumsized, the doc can give you a cream to "unstick" the skin ;)

Ok, so I was showering and washing my dick and while doing that, some of the skin separated. I noticed that the now-exposed spot is blood-red. Is that something to be concerned about? Will the color go down in time? It's the color of blood.

it will seperate. just give it time.

Depends on what you are references. If there is a strip of skin that goes from the forskin to the urethra (pee hole), then it won't go away that is normal. If not, then it will seperate. Either way nothing to worry about.

yep that skin, like all skin under the foreskin isnt used to being exposed, so when it is its still a wee bit raw. all males foreskins are completely connected the penis head until around puberty. or if you are refering to your foreskin being tight, that is very common around your age

how does it look like now ? is it still red ?
if yes I'd suggest go see a doctor
if not, well continue to wash the head at the shower but do it gently, dont force on the skin ;)
