For what reasons do you wear them? Comfort/pleasure or for athletics?

For what reasons do you wear them? Comfort/pleasure or for athletics? I wear them for Gym, Running or just under my gym shorts when its hot out.

Do you like them? Of course
Any other thoughts on jocks! I like the tightness of them against my body and the support they give.
