Embarrassing Doctor Question

When I went for my physical, the doc asked if i was sexually active. I understand why he asked, to see if he should order an STD test, but it was kinda embarrassing because he was examining my genitals when he asked, like he could tell from my development. He's never asked before.

Does you doc ask you that question?

Im not sure he asked to even think about an std test - he could only test with your permission -

Mine asked me if I masturbated...lol..I said once in awhile....he just said it was healthy and that I shouldn't be embarrassed about it.

Never had to be asked such a question since I don't go to the doctors/have never been to the doctors for sexual reasons.

they usually ask, and tell you the risks if you are sexually active.

Can't really say, he was asking me about puberty and how I was handling all the changes in my body, and if I had any questions about wet dreams and when I told him I hadn't had any, he asked if I masturbated and how often...probably since I hadn't had any wet dreams...yet. This was when I was 13, he has never asked me questions about that since.

I don't get physicals, I have never heard of anybody in England getting them regularly either I just don't think it happens here
