Even if we dont get into a romantic relationship or something like that I would not mind to have a resurgence in our friendship. I have her number but since we have not spoken in a while Im unsure of how to start a conversation really with her without seeming creepy/awkward.

It will depend on how you got the number, if she never gave it to you stop right there, and how long "a while" is. If it is less than a year, then just phone her and say you were cleaning your room and unearthed her number and decided to see how she's been.

Apologize for not calling her sooner, and start random conversation. Talk about the past, which according to your other post is what you have in common, let is flow, if she is interested on reconnecting she will not hang up on you.

She gave me her number so that is not an issue. Also thanks for your advice, what I was thinking was basically the same thing so nice to know I was on the right track with that
