Guys Attraction To Girls Body Parts

My question is; and I bet other members can ask the same type of questions here as well, why am I, or guys in general, the male sex, so attracted to the breasts of females(girls)? It may seem obvious to you at first glance, but if you take the time to run it through your mind, you really don't know for sure. Is it the size or shape of them that we are drawn to? Or is it chemically rooted in our minds that makes us lust for them? I heard my female friends say that they don't know why we guys like them so much frequently and my answer is, I don't know, we just are. I would really like to know for sure why.

Generally, all animals are made to reproduce. The human body body is made for sex - if you've taken a biology class and went through the human reproduction unit, you've already heard that :P

If that's the case, then males would be attracted to breasts because they are necessary for nursing a child, and the animal behavior would be to seek the mate who is most fit to produce and nurture a child so that DNA would be passed on successfully. For instance, big breasts would produce more milk, broader hips would make childbirth easier (cause the baby passes through the pelvis to get out) and stuff like that.
So I believe it's how your brain is wired with those animal instincts

So basically you are saying the main reason why we are drawn to breasts is that it is in our DNA to lust for them. I find it hard to believe, even though I find it a compelling explanation. Whenever the moment comes when I find myself glancing a girls chest, I don't feel like it has anything to do with the fact that they have a major role in caring for a child...more like a very attractive material possession or toy. Not to take those seriously, just trying to relate breasts to what they represent to me.

So far, what I know, is that breasts have that one quality that is so mysterious to name, and yet the property that quality gives it is obvious, lust/attraction.

with instincts, you aren't looking at it for face value. You're not thinking about having kids and that's why you like breasts. Instincts are for survival. So for the human race (and any species for that matter) were to want to survive, then it would want a suitable partner for producing a prime child for the next generation. That's why we are attracted to certain attributes of the body and behavior.

Bottom line: We flat out don't think about childbirth and wanting to pass on our DNA when we see a girl's breasts or whatever. It's that instinct makes us feel sexual attraction in whatever manner (playful, rough, desire, etc)

personally i think its because they are covered (sometimes ;))
and as a kid you generally wonder what they are like, what they do and what they look like. And we are raised to treat boobs like a pussy, private.

I remember reading somewhere that (along with the whole genetic predisposition for us liking breasts) part of the feelings we get for breasts is their shape (soft, round, unthreatening) as well as our association with past experiences (unkowingly brings back memories of breastfeeding, good memories as our brain interprets them) which is just partly why we get attracted to them (genetics is a much stronger influence I think).

Agreed. And most females I know when they see a male glancing at their breasts, they respond with something "I wonder why guys are attracted to lumps of fat and skin with nipples attached?". Well, in shorter terms, because they're like those little stress relief things that you can squeeze :D

breasts appeal to the male human body as a purely primal thing. arousal is actually found as a state induced in your mind. some men could care less about breasts....but not only that....its like saying girls dont like guys with big packages. it is scientifically proven that arousal is voluntary and involuntary....so obviously its a chemistry thing...plus if you look at evolution.... many creatures are attracted to brightly color breasts of animals.
