How do I persuade my parents to let me do cyber school? I feel I need schooling at my own pace. There fear being I won't make friends. My grades are straight As and Bs, and I'm not much of a trouble maker if at all.

First off, it's not "cyber school" it's "Virtual School". Cyber school makes you sound like a robot. :P

First off, are you SURE that's what you want to do? It takes a great amount of responsibility to do a Virtual School. You have to be organized especially. Do you think you can learn online? Or do you need someone to explain things to your face for certain classes? Why do you want to do Virtual School? Is school too stressful, too easy? What are your reasons?

Secondly, the social aspect. It is true, most online schools, you won't meet too many friends. However, are you involved on other things outside of school? Sports, clubs, etc? Or do you have friends you can keep in contact with?

Thirdly, have you done your research? Are there free virtual schools for your state/county? Have you looked into them? Do your research, have you or your parents talk to your school's guidance counseler about it.

Another idea to consider is doing Virtual School part time. Do some of your classes at your local middle/high school and some on Virtual School. This is less socially isolating and if some courses you need to be taught in person, you can do that.

Okay, well WHY are you stressed? Too many assignments? Socially stressful?

And what about the other questions?

I guess I should explain my situation. So I missed half of 6th grade due complications from a brain surgery. Some doo doo head let me go into 7th grade the summer after. Now I am fed up, mainly with math. I am so far behind with math now that nothing makes sence. I'm just overwhelmed with all the math I don't know what to do with.

I'm moving states this summer, and I just don't know what to do.
I learn better with someone telling me face to face, which is not happening.
Please help:(

Have you told your parents about this? I am very surprised they did not make you repeat 6th grade. You need to talk to your parents. I don't know if virtual school will help your problem. There are two options I can think of, though there are more.

1) Go to your new school, go with you parents to the guidance counsler and explain your situation. You will be placed into intensive classes accordingly. That way you can be taught by a teacher.
2) Do virtual school classes. This may be hard if you need a teacher to explain things to you face to face, but if for some subjects you don't need that, This can work.

You can also combine the two.

Now, if you don't mind me asking (if you don't want to answer that is perfectly fine), what state are you moving to and which grade will you be entering?

Okay. I can't help you with state specifics. That you will have to do research for. But you do need to talk to your parents and express your concerns.
